Installation Instructions: Welder Series Kit F014
Motor Mount Kit - Small Block Ford - For Stock Insulators
Lowdown Hot Rods has another way to mount the C005 and F014 motor mounts. This sequence shows Tom VanDerGeld installing the Ford mounts in a Model "A" frame. This can also be used to mount the C005 Chev motor mounts.

Position the motor in the frame rails. The frame should be at its finished "rake".

The laser-cut slit in the main plate makes the mount easy to bend. Try to keep bending in the same direction - the "bridges" at each end of the slit don't like being "unbent" and they might break.
Fold the plate so it lays over the frame rail, as pictured. Be sure it is also flat against the motor mount insulator. Use the inside of the frame rail to draw a line on the underside of the plate.
Cut the mount to length. It's better to make this first cut a little long because the plate still has to get bent more.
Tom has been working on the passenger side. He tacks the main plate in place so nothing moves while he does the same procedure on the driver's side.
After folding and trimming the driver's side main plate, Tom tacks it to the rail.
After making a basic cardboard cutout of the gusset, Tom trims it to fit.
Trim & fit and trim and fit. It only took a few minutes for Tom to have the cardboard template the way he wanted it.
Trace the cardboard pattern onto the gusset supplied in the kit.
Trim the gusset.

Tack the gusset in place. Check both sides before trimming the gussets - they likely will be slightly different.

Finish welding. Weld both sides of the laser cut slit.
